Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt

In a separate large bowl, beat together the granulated sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined

Stir in the semisweet chocolate chips

Chill the cookie dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle

Place the powdered sugar in a shallow bowl

Roll the chilled cookie dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in the powdered sugar until fully coated

Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie

Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and crackled

Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely

Once cooled, enjoy these delicious Double Chocolate Crackled Cookies!
